Where We’re At — And Where We’re Going
Share
A little over six months ago, NOK was just an idea sitting in our heads.
It was late-night conversations, sketches, designs saved in our phones, ideas written down on random notes, and dreams that honestly felt way bigger than what we were capable of at the time. We knew what we wanted this company to become, but we didn’t have anything tangible to show people yet.
Now we do.
And that alone feels unreal.
Over the last several months, we’ve jumped in full force. Countless nights working on designs, learning how to run a business, figuring out clothing, figuring out websites, figuring out content, figuring out failures, and figuring out how to keep pushing forward even when things felt overwhelming.
We are still a very small company.
At the time of writing this, we haven’t even hit 100 orders yet.
But honestly, that makes this moment even more special.
Because one day we’ll look back at this exact point and remember what it felt like when everything was still just beginning. Before things got bigger. Before more people knew our name. Before all the goals and dreams hopefully become reality.
Right now, it’s still personal.
Every order means something to us.
Every message means something to us.
Every single person who spends their hard-earned money with NOK means something to us.
We know how hard it is to earn a dollar nowadays. We know people have families, bills, responsibilities, and a million other things they could spend their money on. So the fact that someone chooses to support us, wear our gear, and believe in what we’re building truly means more than we can put into words.
One thing we’ve really focused on lately is setting the precedent for the kind of company we want to be moving forward.
We want to be the company that calls people after they place an order just to say thank you.
Not because we have to.
Because we genuinely mean it.
There’s something old-fashioned about that. A handshake. A conversation. Real people supporting real people. Even if our customers are all across the country, those phone calls feel like a mutual handshake between us and the people supporting this dream.
And honestly, those conversations have been one of the coolest parts of this entire journey.
Getting messages every single day saying people love the designs, love the quality, love what we stand for it keeps us going more than you know.
We don’t have huge marketing budgets.
We don’t have investors.
We don’t have massive warehouses or giant teams.
What we do have is belief, work ethic, faith, and a vision for something bigger than ourselves.
Between Dylan, Scooter, and Adam, we’re just trying to build something real.
Something authentic.
Something that people actually connect with.
Now that we finally have products and designs we truly stand behind, it feels like we’re entering a new chapter. We can stop holding everything in our heads and finally start showing people what NOK really is.
And this is only the beginning.
We’re preparing for duck season.
We’re preparing for next year’s bowfishing season.
We’ve got ideas for hard goods.
We’ve got big announcements we hope we can share soon.
We’ve got content ideas we can’t wait to bring to life.
The future feels bright.
Most importantly, through all of this, we continue trying to keep God at the center of everything we do. Our faith matters deeply to us. We pray for guidance, wisdom, and direction in every step we take because without Him, none of this means anything.
At the end of the day, NOK is bigger than clothing.
It’s about building a community of hardworking people who love the outdoors, love their families, love chasing dreams, and understand what it means to work for something instead of expecting handouts.
We’re learning every single day.
We’re growing every single day.
And we’re incredibly thankful that so many of you are choosing to grow alongside us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
Thank you for the support.
Thank you for the messages.
Thank you for believing in us this early.
And thank you for being here while this story is still just getting started.
