August 2026 Update: Building Something Bigger Than a Brand
As we head into August, we wanted to take a minute to update everyone on where NOK is at and, most importantly, say thank you.
The last couple of months have been nothing short of incredible. Two months ago was the biggest month we’ve ever had, and to say we were blown away would be an understatement. Every order, every message, every share, and every conversation has helped build this brand into something we’re incredibly proud of.
What started as an idea has continued to grow because of all of you. Every single day we’re meeting amazing people, building new relationships, trying new ideas, and finding better ways to serve this community. We couldn’t be more excited about where we’re headed.
The NOK Pro Team
One of the things we’re most excited about is launching the NOK Pro Team.
To us, this is about much more than having a logo on someone’s social media profile. We want to build a real team. We want to hunt together, create content together, share ideas, and help each other grow—not only as outdoorsmen, but as people.
Between Scooter, Adam, and myself, we’ve all had the opportunity to work with professional teams over the years, and we’ve learned what makes a great teammate.
If there’s one piece of advice we’d give anyone who wants to join the NOK Pro Team, it’s this:
Don’t ask what the company can do for you. Ask what you can do for the company.
That’s exactly what stood out about our first two Pro Team members. They never asked for free gear, discount codes, or special treatment. They simply said they wanted the opportunity to help build NOK because they believed in what we stand for.
That told us everything we needed to know.
They had read our mission statement. They understood our vision. Before they were even officially on the team, they were already sending ideas, making phone calls, and talking about how they wanted to help bring NOK to Texas. That’s the kind of people we want beside us, and we’re excited to grow alongside them.
Our Merch Has Never Been Better
For the first time since starting NOK, we feel like we’ve built a merchandise lineup that truly represents who we are.
We’ve spent countless hours designing apparel that we’d actually wear ourselves, and we’re incredibly proud of where it’s at. Of course, we’ll continue releasing new designs throughout the year while retiring others to keep everything fresh, but we’re finally at a point where the collection feels complete.
The Black Label Series
One project we’re especially proud of is our Black Label Series.
Each month we’ll release one limited-edition hoodie throughout duck season. Once that month’s design is gone, it’s gone.
These hoodies aren’t cheap to produce. They cost a significant amount more to manufacture than our standard apparel, but they’re worth every penny to us because they represent the direction we’re taking this company.
Every purchase helps us continue building better products, creating better content, expanding our community, and investing back into the future of NOK.
We’re only on our third Black Label hoodie, and we already can’t wait to show you what’s coming next.
Our Mission Hasn’t Changed
No matter how much this company grows, our mission remains exactly the same.
We want to encourage people to become the best version of themselves.
To grow closer to God.
To become better husbands, wives, fathers, mothers, friends, teammates, and leaders.
NOK has always been about more than apparel. Clothing is simply the vehicle that allows us to build a community centered around faith, hard work, the outdoors, and becoming better every single day.
As this brand continues to grow, we hope we can invest even more into that mission and continue creating something that genuinely makes a positive impact on people’s lives.
Hunting Season Is Almost Here
The countdown is officially on.
September is shaping up to be one of our busiest months yet.
Dylan was fortunate enough to draw a limited-entry pronghorn tag after nine years of applying, Scooter will be chasing elk during the Wasatch archery hunt, and before we know it, duck season will be here.
We’ll be documenting every step along the way and can’t wait to share it with all of you.
A Special Thank You to Fowl Habits
Before we wrap this up, we wanted to recognize two people who have become great friends of ours—David and Natalie with Fowl Habits.
If you’ve never hunted with them, we can’t recommend them enough.
They are some of the most genuine, hardworking people we’ve ever met.
David spends countless hours scouting, driving hundreds of thousands of miles every year to stay on birds and make sure every client has the best opportunity possible. Natalie works just as hard behind the scenes, whether she’s cleaning birds, helping clients, or making sure every hunt runs smoothly.
When waterfowl season ends, they head to Alaska where they operate a charter fishing business, helping people experience world-class halibut fishing.
Their lives revolve around serving others, and it shows in everything they do.
From their incredible pit blinds to their guides and the overall experience they provide, they truly care about every single person who hunts with them.
Even if you never book a hunt, we’d encourage you to reach out, say hello, and follow along with what they’re doing. They’re exactly the kind of people we love surrounding ourselves with.
Thank You
As of August 2, 2026, we’re incredibly excited about where NOK is headed.
We have new products coming, more hunts planned, an amazing Pro Team taking shape, and bigger goals than ever before.
But none of it happens without you.
Thank you for believing in our mission.
Thank you for supporting a small business.
Thank you for helping us build something that means so much to us.
We appreciate every single one of you, and as always, if there’s ever anything we can do to earn your business, we’d love the opportunity.
We’ll see you in the field.
